Flight operations to resume from Sialkot airport to ME destinations from March 16

Published on: March 13, 2026 2:53 AM

Flight operations from Sialkot International Airport Limited to Middle Eastern destinations are expected to resume from March 16, 2026, after a temporary suspension caused by the Iran conflict that disrupted air travel across the region.

According to a spokesperson, earlier, several Gulf countries had suspended air operations due to the escalating situation linked to the Iran war, which severely affected international passengers and airline operations worldwide.

However, with a reduction in tensions and Gulf countries gradually restarting flights through alternative airports, normal air connectivity is now being restored. As a result, flight operations from Sialkot International Airport Limiter (SIAL) are likely to resume from March, 16.

Passengers are advised to contact their respective airlines to confirm flight schedules and obtain the latest travel information before coming to the airport.
