Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti confirmed that more than 70 Pakistani nationals have so far returned home from Iran as part of the repatriation drive.
The formal repatriation of Pakistani citizens residing in Iran has begun in light of the evolving situation there, according to Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti.
In an official statement issued on Monday, Sarfraz Bugti confirmed that coordinated efforts are underway to ensure the safe and orderly return of nationals. He noted that immigration authorities at border crossing points are deployed around the clock to facilitate smooth and efficient processing of incoming travelers.
“Immigration officials are performing their duties 24 hours a day at border locations to ensure that the movement process remains effective and well-organized,” Bugti said.
The provincial government has directed administrations of border districts to provide all possible facilities and assistance to returning citizens. Measures include logistical support, basic amenities, and administrative facilitation to ease reintegration upon arrival.
He added that arrangements will continue in the coming days to accommodate additional returnees, with provincial and border officials maintaining heightened readiness to manage the situation efficiently.
