
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has declared that there will be no compromise on the defence of the country, warning that any act of aggression will be met with a strong and befitting response. He said Pakistan’s security and sovereignty are paramount and will be protected at all costs.
In his statement, the premier paid glowing tribute to the Pakistan Army for effectively responding to aggression by Afghan Taliban elements. He said the armed forces have once again demonstrated their operational readiness and capability to neutralize hostile designs aimed at destabilizing the country.

Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that under the leadership of Asim Munir, the armed forces are carrying out their duties with unwavering commitment and high morale. He noted that Pakistan’s military is equipped with professional expertise, modern capabilities, and a comprehensive defence strategy to address both internal and external threats.
The prime minister reiterated that while Pakistan has consistently advocated peace and regional stability, it will not tolerate any threat to its territorial integrity. He added that the entire nation stands united behind its armed forces and remains determined to safeguard the country’s peace, stability, and national interests.
