
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday visited the residence of Shaheed Lt Col Shahzada Gul Faraz in Mansehra to offer condolences and express solidarity with his grieving family.
During the visit, the prime minister met the mother, wife, and children of the martyred officer, praying for strength and patience for the family to bear the immense loss.

He also visited the grave of Lt Col Gul Faraz, offered Fateha, and prayed for the elevation of his ranks in Jannah, highlighting the officer’s bravery while protecting the nation.
“Shaheed Gul Faraz sacrificed his life leading operations against Fitna al Khawarij terrorists,” the prime minister said, adding that his courage and dedication set an inspiring example for the entire nation.

Shehbaz Sharif assured the bereaved family of full support from the government and Pakistan Army, emphasizing that the nation would never forget the sacrifices of its martyrs and their families.
On the occasion, the prime minister announced the establishment of a Daanish School in Mansehra in the name of Lt Col Shahzada Gul Faraz, honoring his legacy and commitment to the country.
