Cardi B fires back over Nicki Minaj Bot controversy

Published on: February 24, 2026 7:02 PM

Cardi B reacted strongly after being dragged into a controversy involving longtime rival Nicki Minaj, insisting that she is not connected to alleged bot activity amplifying Minaj’s political content online.

The dispute stems from a Cyabra report that analyzed nearly 55,000 accounts interacting with Nicki Minaj’s social media over two months, finding that approximately 33 percent were inauthentic and part of a coordinated amplification campaign.

Cardi took to X on February 23 to address self-described Trump advisor Alex Bruesewitz, who had attempted to link her to the report due to her agent Mike G’s affiliation with Cyabra.

“I get dragged into things that have nothing to do with me,” Cardi wrote, warning Bruesewitz she could take legal action and demanding he focus on the data rather than her involvement.

She clarified Cyabra’s role, noting the company serves high-profile clients including Elon Musk and Pepsi, and has Mike Pompeo on its advisory board, emphasizing that the data findings are real and separate from her career.

Cardi’s public response adds fuel to her longstanding feud with Nicki Minaj, which recently reignited when Minaj mocked Cardi’s new album, Am I the Drama?, continuing years of rivalry between the two Grammy-winning rappers.
