ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has suspended six employees after they were found involved in water theft. The Human Resource Development Directorate (HRDD) issued formal orders of their suspension. These employees were suspended under CDA Employees Service Regulation 1992 Act, Article 8 on their involvement in misconduct and corruption. Those who were suspended from their service are five baildars of water production division, including Muhammad Ijaz, Muhammad Asif, Eid Akbar, Muhammad Yaseen, Ajmal Mehmood and one security guard Muhammad Zaheer. CDA member administration Muhammad Yasir Peerzada has also constituted a fact finding inquiry committee in this regard to probe into the matter.
