
Sindh has made computerized fitness mandatory for all vehicles, senior minister Sharjeel Memon announced. Without it, no vehicle can legally run. The move aims to improve road safety and streamline vehicle regulation.
Sharjeel Memon said the province’s entire vehicle system is now computerized. Drivers must obtain computerized fitness certificates before using roads. Authorities will strictly enforce compliance to ensure safer transport.

He added that the Health Department issued clear instructions for ambulance use. Sirens and lights should only be used while transporting patients to hospitals. This measure protects both patients and other road users.
The Transport Department is also expanding public transport in the province. Some buses are already at the port, and the government approved an additional 500 buses. The goal is to provide better service for every citizen.
