A refined evening of classical music unfolded at Alhamra Hall #3, where a distinguished classical music programme was organised, celebrating tradition, discipline and artistic excellence.
Renowned classical musician Ustad Nadeem Riaz Malik delivered a captivating performance, leaving the audience immersed in the depth and dignity of classical sound.
Ustad Nadeem Riaz Malik, a former disciple of the prestigious Gwalior Gharana and a gold medalist from the first batch of Punjab University, demonstrated exceptional mastery of classical music. The evening commenced with Raag Deep, while the arrival of Raag Bhupali, perfectly aligned with the winter season, created an atmosphere of profound musical serenity. His rendition reflected composure, meaning, and a deep connection with the classical tradition, where raag, rhythm and even silence spoke with eloquence.
The programme was graced by the special participation of Executive Director Alhamra, Muhammad Nawaz Gondal, who attended the event along with his team, reaffirming Alhamra’s institutional support for classical arts. Prominent guests, including Additional Secretary to the Chief Secretary, renowned poet Shafqatullah Mushtaq, Tariq Khan Niazi, Director, Development Board of Revenue and Rana Arshad, former DC Kasur, also attended the evening, adding distinction to the gathering.

Speaking on the occasion, ED Alhamra Muhammad Nawaz Gondal stated that Alhamra’s stage and resources will always remain available for the welfare, promotion and dignity of art and artists, emphasising Alhamra’s responsibility as a national cultural institution. Participants noted that the evening beautifully united tradition and rigorous practice, allowing classical music to appear in its purest and most dignified form. The gathering became a graceful narrative of melodies, where cultural heritage resonated deeply with contemporary audiences.
