First AI-generated song in Sindhi language released

Published on: January 3, 2026 1:57 AM

Artificial intelligence (AI) technology has made an important breakthrough in the field of Sindhi music, with the first-ever AI-generated song in the Sindhi language having been produced. The song has been created by senior cartoonist and journalist Murad Ali Shah Bukerai, who has no prior association with the music industry.

Talking to APP, Murad Ali Shah Bukerai said he had earlier produced songs in English and Urdu with the help of AI; however, this was the first song created through AI in the Sindhi language, which he described as a major milestone for Sindhi music.

He explained that producing songs through AI does not require real singers, composers, models and cameras or locations, as a person with basic AI skills can generate a complete song using just a few sentences.

He noted that creating songs in Sindhi through AI was relatively challenging because existing AI tools do not yet fully support the Sindhi language, but despite these difficulties, he added that consistent effort led to this achievement.

He expressed optimism that, although producing Sindhi songs through AI was currently difficult, however, more advanced AI tools will emerge in the near future, enabling ordinary users to easily create Sindhi songs with the help of artificial intelligence.
