
Walton Goggins has praised his Fallout season 2 co-star, Macaulay Culkin, calling him “uniquely suited” for his role as Lacerta Legate in the Prime Video series. Goggins admitted that Culkin’s casting initially surprised him.
“I didn’t know about him because they don’t tell me a lot of things,” Goggins said in a recent interview, noting that he knew about other cast members like Justin Theroux and Jon Gries beforehand.

However, Goggins quickly realized how perfectly Culkin fit into the apocalyptic world of Fallout. He recalled, “When they told me, I just lit up because I think the world of him and we became friends after Righteous Gemstones.”
For Goggins, the casting was more than just a reunion. He emphasized Culkin’s thoughtful approach to his character, stating, “The way he fits into this world is so specific and he is so uniquely suited for it.”
Showrunner Geneva Robertson-Dworet also lauded Culkin’s performance, praising his creative vision. She said, “He had a very particular read on the kind of character he wanted to play within the Legion, and he truly brought that to life.”
Fallout season 2 continues to release new episodes on Wednesdays via Prime Video, with the season finale scheduled for February 4, 2026. Fans can expect more thrilling performances as the storyline unfolds.
