Lahore records 151 average AQI

As the average AQI dropped to 151, Lahore experienced a sunny and clear day on Wednesday. According to IQAir, the current air quality remained unhealthy, with PM2.5 levels measured at 11.2 times the World Health Organization’s annual guideline value. Cold and dry weather persisted in Lahore and is expected to continue on Thursday.

MET officials said continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. They forecast cold and dry conditions across most regions, with very cold weather in the northern areas. Shallow to moderate fog may develop over the plain areas of northeast and south Punjab as well as upper Sindh during night and morning hours.
