Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon and Provincial Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit paid tribute to the martyrs of the APS tragedy, saying that on the completion of 11 years since the tragedy, they honor the innocent children who sacrificed their lives for knowledge, peace, and a brighter future for Pakistan. In a statement, he said the APS tragedy is a painful chapter in the nation’s history that united the entire country. He added that the fight against terrorism is not only the responsibility of the state but a shared responsibility of the whole nation.
Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said the blood of the martyrs conveys the message that the darkness of fear, hatred, and extremism can be defeated through education, awareness, and unity. He said the nation must pledge to provide its children with a safe, peaceful, and developed Pakistan, where the power of the pen is stronger than the gun. He said the true strength of the nation lies in its youth, and the sacrifice of the APS martyrs teaches lessons of courage, perseverance, and hope. He added that the struggle against terrorism and extremism will continue at all levels to fulfill the mission of the martyrs.
APS attack anniversary observed at GCU Hyderabad
Government College University Hyderabad fraternity solemnly remembered the Shuhda-e-APS on Tuesday in front of the main assembly hall. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Moazzam Ali Khan, accompanied by senior faculty, staff, and students, honored the children by lighting candles and offering roses in their memory. Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dr Moazzam Ali Khan said, “We must never forget the innocent lives lost and continue to promote peace and education as a tribute to their memory.
