“Honestly, I listen to Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill when I’m feeling like I don’t know what to say or who I am,” Rodrigo said. She explained that the album resonates deeply during moments of self-doubt.

Rodrigo described the 1995 record as a complete reflection of the human experience. She said it captures anger, jealousy, joy, and hope in a way that feels honest and beautifully intertwined.

The Vampire singer praised the album’s emotional openness, calling it a reminder of what she aims to achieve through her own music. According to Rodrigo, the record helps her reconnect with authenticity rather than expectations.

She added that what she admires most about Morissette’s work is the fearless self-expression behind it. Rodrigo said the album represents an artist letting emotions pour out without chasing approval or popularity.

The singer noted that this level of honesty is what inspires her most as a songwriter. She believes music is at its strongest when it is rooted in genuine feeling rather than commercial success.
