The President and Secretary of the Islamabad High Court Bar Association (IHCBA) Friday held a meeting with the Islamabad High Court Journalists Association (IHCJA), and expressed satisfaction over non-shifting of IHC.
The meeting was attended by President High Court Bar Wajid Gilani and Secretary Manzoor Jaja.On this occasion, expressing satisfaction over the non-shifting of the High Court building.
The IHCBA President Wajid Ali Gilani said that we thank the media for conveying the position of the lawyers of Islamabad to the higher authorities. We thank Mohsin Naqvi, Azam Nazir Tarar, Ahsan Bhawan for accepting our position. We also thank the government for stopping the shift of the High Court. Secretary Manzoor Ahmed Jaja said that the Constitutional Court is being shifted to the place of the Sharia Court.
The Sharia Court will be established on the third floor of the Islamabad High Court. The Islamabad High Court will remain in its place. We will get more important work done for the lawyers until the term of our cabinet is completed.
On this occasion, the High Court Bar thanked Member Engineering CDA Syed Nafast Raza, who played a role in the construction of the new block of the bar. Shields were also presented on the occasion.
