The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has introduced the Insaf Female Education Card, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at providing free higher education to 55,000 female students across the province. Chief Minister Suhail Afridi announced the program in Peshawar, describing it as a vital step toward empowering women through education. He emphasized that an educated female population is essential for building a strong, prosperous, and progressive society that values equality and opportunity for all citizens.
Under this initiative, the provincial government will cover educational expenses for eligible women to eliminate financial obstacles that often prevent them from continuing higher studies. Officials said the program reflects the government’s commitment to promoting inclusivity and ensuring that women have equal access to academic growth. The Insaf Female Education Card will also support students from low-income backgrounds, helping them pursue degrees in universities and colleges without the burden of tuition fees.
