Punjab has introduced a mobile app to facilitate prisoner visits across its jails, including Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi. The app allows visitors to book appointments in advance, reducing wait times and improving scheduling efficiency. It is available for download on the Google Play Store.
Officials have issued instructions to all jail superintendents across Punjab to implement the app for visitor management. Each jail’s in-charge of the Prisoners Management Information System (PMIS) has received specialized training to operate the platform effectively.

To ensure smooth operations, jail staff will also access training videos that demonstrate the app’s usage. These resources are designed to enhance staff readiness and provide step-by-step guidance for visitor bookings.
Jail authorities have directed the deployment of staff at waiting areas to assist visitors with online appointments. Additionally, dedicated facilitation counters will be established for visitors who book appointments via the app.
