An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Rawalpindi on Monday issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding chairman Imran Khan, for the third time in the November 26 protest case. The court issued a warrant for Aleema’s guarantor as well and ordered the seizure of his bonds. Separately, an anti-terrorism court in Islamabad on Monday issued non-bailable arrest warrants of Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Umar Ayub, Zain Qureshi, Zartaj Gul and Ali Bokhari in Sangjani public rally case. Another anti-Terrorism Court summoned more prosecution witnesses for testimony on next hearing in a case regarding violent protest at Faizabad after disqualification of PTI founder. Judge Tahir Abbas Sapra adjourned the hearing of the case till next date. During the hearing, lawyer Ilyas Siddiqui appeared in the court on behalf of the PTI leaders, while five prosecution witnesses appeared in the court and faced cross-examination. PTI leaders Amir Mahmood Kayani, Raja Majid and others were also present in the court. The court adjourned the proceedings by summoning more prosecution witnesses for the next hearing. The case is registered in the Industrial Area Police Station.
