Security forces have killed all 30 India-sponsored terrorists involved in the deadly Orakzai attack earlier this week. The operation was launched after confirmed intelligence reports identified the presence of the militants in the Jamal Maya area. These terrorists were linked to the October 7 attack that killed 11 soldiers, including two officers. According to the ISPR, all terrorists were killed after an intense gun battle. The Army called this operation a major success and justice for the fallen heroes.
The ISPR confirmed that the attackers belonged to the India-backed group Fitna-tul-Khawarij. Security forces had been hunting the group since the Orakzai ambush. The fallen soldiers included Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Arif and Major Tayyab Rahat, who led their troops bravely. The Army has continued clearance operations in the region to eliminate any remaining threats. The ISPR stressed that Pakistan’s forces remain firm in their goal to wipe out foreign-backed terrorism.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar praised the military’s efforts. The President said the successful operation lifted the nation’s pride. He added that the sacrifices of Lt. Col. Junaid, Major Tayyab, and others will never be forgotten. The Prime Minister said their blood would not go to waste. He vowed that Pakistan would never allow terrorists to succeed. The fight will continue until the country is free from terror.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also issued a strong statement. He said the Khawarij terrorists would not be allowed to hide anywhere in Pakistan. He praised the military for breaking the terror network. He also assured the public that the state will respond with full force to any future threats. The operation, he said, proved that Pakistan has the will and power to defeat enemies from within and beyond.
