The government has announced the final deadline for applicants of the Government Hajj Scheme 2025 to submit their second installment of dues. According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the payment window will remain open from November 3 to November 10. Any applicant failing to deposit the required amount within this timeframe will lose their chance to perform Hajj. The ministry has made it clear that delayed payments will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Officials confirmed that applicants who miss the deadline will have their applications automatically canceled. In such cases, the first installment will be refunded directly into their bank accounts without additional deductions. The announcement aims to ensure transparency and avoid complications in managing the large number of pilgrims expected to travel under the scheme. Authorities have also advised applicants to carefully plan their payments to avoid last-minute issues.

For the second installment, each applicant is required to deposit Rs. 650,000 through one of the 14 designated banks. These banks have been authorized to accept payments nationwide, making the process easier for applicants from different regions. Meanwhile, the private Hajj scheme has already begun receiving applications, offering an alternative for those willing to pay higher amounts for customized services. This dual arrangement provides both economical and premium options for pilgrims.
In addition to the standard payment, the ministry has introduced optional residential packages with added costs. Those selecting a double-bed family room will be required to pay an additional Rs. 200,000 per person, while those opting for a triple-bed family room will have to pay an extra Rs. 67,000 per person. These packages are designed to accommodate varying preferences and ensure pilgrims have flexibility in choosing their living arrangements in Saudi Arabia.

Officials have further clarified that applicants may change their selected package at the time of making the second installment. However, once the payment has been deposited, no further modifications will be allowed. This policy aims to streamline the process and avoid administrative complications. Pilgrims are therefore encouraged to finalize their choices carefully before making payments.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs urged all applicants to strictly follow the notified schedule to avoid disqualification. With thousands of people preparing for the spiritual journey, timely payments and careful selection of packages remain essential for smooth arrangements. The government emphasized that proper planning and cooperation from pilgrims will help ensure a safe, organized, and spiritually fulfilling Hajj experience in 2025.
