ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a new appointment booking feature through its Pak ID mobile application, enabling citizens to schedule visits to NADRA Registration Centers (NRCs) across the country.
In a social media post on Friday, NADRA said the system is designed to reduce wait times and improve crowd management, urging citizens to arrive at least 10 minutes before their appointment for smooth processing.

The initiative aims to address the long-standing issue of overcrowding at NRCs by allowing people to secure appointments from home. The Pak ID app already provides several services, including applying for new, renewed, or modified CNICs and NICOPs, biometric verification, document uploads, and online payments.
Alongside this development, NADRA has also modernised its online fee payment system for identity documents. Citizens in Pakistan and abroad can now pay fees conveniently through Easypaisa, JazzCash, and e-Sahulat. The upgraded system applies to services such as Smart National Identity Cards (SNIC), Child Registration Certificates (CRC), and Family Registration Certificates (FRC).
NADRA said the online payment process is safe, user-friendly, and ensures timely delivery of documents to applicants’ chosen addresses, marking another step toward enhancing public convenience.
