The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) killed 10 terrorists during an operation near Quetta in the Aghbarg area. The CTD team faced heavy gunfire but responded quickly and effectively. Police confirmed that the terrorists were involved in sabotage and attacks on security forces. The CTD recovered a large cache of weapons, including firearms and bomb-making materials. Officials said the terrorists planned a major attack, which the operation successfully stopped.

The terrorists targeted security forces and civilians alike. Their plans could have caused massive destruction. Thanks to the CTD’s swift action, a tragedy was avoided. Search operations continue in the area to find any remaining threats. Authorities want to ensure full safety and prevent further violence.

This operation followed a deadly bomb blast near the FC headquarters in Quetta just one day earlier. The explosion killed at least 10 people and injured many others. It shattered windows and caused chaos in the city’s Model Town area. The attack shook the local community and raised serious security concerns.

Security sources identified the attacker as a member of Fitnatul Hindustan. The suicide bomber disguised himself in an FC uniform. He was accompanied by five other terrorists during the attack. This shows the high level of planning and threat faced by security forces.
