PM Shehbaz slams Israel’s aggression at Doha summit

Published on: September 15, 2025 8:53 PM

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned Israel’s recent aggression during his speech at the Arab Islamic emergency summit in Doha. He declared that Israel violated Qatar’s sovereignty and regional peace. The prime minister emphasized that war crimes must not go unpunished. He warned that failure to act would place a heavy burden on history.

Shehbaz Sharif expressed full solidarity with Qatar and called Israel’s attack part of a pattern of repeated aggression. He said these actions have damaged ongoing peace efforts in the region. The prime minister urged the United Nations Security Council to immediately enforce a ceasefire in Gaza and ensure access to medical aid.

He stated that Pakistan firmly supports suspending Israel’s membership in the United Nations due to its repeated violations of international law. He stressed that the world must unite rather than stay silent. Sharif questioned Israel’s so-called peace negotiations, calling them a façade meant to distract the international community.

The prime minister highlighted the suffering of innocent civilians in Gaza, saying humanity is crying out for justice. He demanded emergency humanitarian relief for Gaza’s population. According to him, Israel’s war crimes and attacks on civilians should be brought before international courts without delay.

Concluding his remarks, Shehbaz Sharif reiterated Pakistan’s support for a free and independent Palestinian state based on 1967 borders. He urged Muslim nations to act collectively and decisively. He warned that inaction today would be remembered as a failure by future generations.
