Islamabad’s Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has ordered a strict operation to remove illegal encroachments across the city. He chaired a meeting at the CDA headquarters to review ongoing and upcoming projects. Naqvi emphasized that no leniency would be shown toward illegal occupants. In the meeting, Naqvi announced the foundation stone ceremonies for two key projects: the T-Chowk flyover and Shaheen Chowk underpass. Both projects will begin in early September. These infrastructure improvements will ease traffic flow and enhance public convenience. Naqvi tasked the SSP Operations, ADCG, and Director DMA with leading the anti-encroachment drive. He also ordered strict enforcement of housing society regulations.
