
Lahore – On World Humanitarian Day, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif emphasized that humanity is the greatest bond, transcending all relationships and boundaries. She said serving humanity is a noble act that must rise above color, creed, and prejudice.
In her official message, Maryam Nawaz stated that becoming a source of comfort and ease for others is the true essence of humanity. She added that in today’s global landscape, the spirit of humanitarian service holds greater importance than ever before.
Referring to current world events, she said the cries of innocent victims in Gaza and the suffering of the Kashmiri people continue to shake every sensitive soul. These tragedies, she noted, demand empathy and urgent global compassion.
Maryam Nawaz also stressed that compassion for others is akin to worship and stands as the highest form of service. She affirmed that every initiative of the Punjab government is rooted in humanitarian concern and public welfare.
Concluding her message, she called for building a world where peace, love, and humanity thrive. She urged collective efforts to ensure that human dignity is protected and compassion becomes a shared global value.
