Islamabad: The Government of Pakistan has announced an immediate humanitarian aid package for Palestine, following the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
According to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), two cargo planes will transport 100 tons of essential relief supplies, including food, medicines, and emergency equipment. The aid will be delivered within the next two days.
The relief items will reach Palestinian territories through Jordan and Egypt, using special flights coordinated by NDMA. Vice Prime Minister Ishaq Dar will personally oversee the dispatch and ensure the aid reaches its destination safely and efficiently.
Pakistani ambassadors in both Jordan and Egypt will assist in smooth delivery across borders and into Palestinian areas facing urgent humanitarian needs. This effort comes in response to the worsening crisis and growing calls for international assistance.
NDMA emphasized that this initiative reflects the deep solidarity of the Pakistani people with their Palestinian brothers and sisters during these difficult times. More aid missions may follow, depending on future needs and coordination with local authorities.
