In Karachi Division, five local government seats will see by-polls. Elections will also be held for the chairman and general member seats in UC-1 and UC-7 of Orangi Town.
To ensure transparency, the ECP has appointed returning officers (ROs) and district returning officers (DROs). Deputy commissioners of East, West, and Keamari districts will serve as DROs. The ECP has also placed restrictions on the announcement of new development projects and the use of government resources in these constituencies during the election period.
