FAISALABAD: Six persons including 4 robbers have been killed in different cities of Punjab during alleged police encounters. The Faisalabad police was taking Qaiser and Fayaz for recovery when their accomplices attempted to free them and started firing near Khanowal Two detainees and their accomplice were injured in the retaliatory firing by the police. The injured detainees were rushed to local hospital; however, they succumbed to injuries. Meanwhile, another alleged police shootout took place in Sheikhupra area of Punjab, where two robbers were gunned-down. According to police, the robbers started firing at the police party on spotting them. The police also claimed to have recovered weapons. Meanwhile, robbers were looting people on Sargodha Road when police reached the site, the robbers started firing at the police rather than laying down their weapons. The police retaliated and gunned-down two robbers, while their accomplice fled the scene.
