Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the F-8 Exchange Chowk Interchange and Serena Chowk Interchange project sites to assess construction progress and ensure timely completion. During the visit, Minister Naqvi announced that the underpass at the F-8 Exchange Chowk Interchange will be opened for traffic on December 25. He commended the contractor and the Islamabad administration for completing the underpass within an impressive 43 days. The complete F-8 Exchange Chowk Interchange project is expected to be inaugurated in the second week of February, while the Serena Chowk Interchange will be operational by the first week of January, completed in just 60 days. Naqvi directed construction teams to maintain 24/7 operations to meet deadlines. He also met with workers at the sites, lauded their efforts, and encouraged them to continue with the same dedication. “Our aim is to provide world-class facilities to Islamabad’s citizens,” said the Minister. “These projects will significantly improve traffic flow in the city.” CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa briefed the Minister on the progress of both projects. Senior CDA officials, the Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad, and contractors were also present.
