Dadu PPP announces to clean city

DADU: Pakistan People’s Party Dadu has announced to conduct cleanliness drive in Dadu on every Sunday of a Week. The cleanliness drive was led by Pakistan People’s Party former education minister of Sindh Pir Muzhar-ul-Haque along with his son Dadu MPA- Member of Provincial Assembly Pir Mujeeb-ul-Haque, their party workers, Social workers and citizen were also become part of drive.

First phase of cleanliness drive was started from Dadu Canal to Sail Mori of Dadu city where PPP former education minister Pir Muzhar-ul-Haque and his son MPA Dadu Pir Mujeeb-ul-Haque inaugurated the drive. Heavy machinery was used in drive for removal garbage on Canal blankets.

Talking to the media former education Minister said that the drive’s aim was to end garbage in the city which was spreading due to the negligence of the municipal department. Former education minister said that every week of Sunday a drive would be held till the garbage is cleared up. PPP senior leader Pir Muzhar-ul-Haque said that when he was education minister drainage water of the city had been released out of the city by pipelines but now this drainage water was released into Dadu canal which is harmful for human and animals. He said this movement was started by us it is part of democracy and these guidelines were given by PPP founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto to senior party soldiers and they would follow the direction of their leaders.

MPA Dadu Pir Mujeeb-ul-Haque said on the eve of Independence Day they had started tree sapling plants in Dadu for its beautifications and like it the drive of cleanliness would continue till end of garbage in city. MPA Dadu Pir Mujeeb-ul-Haque said that he had raised the issues of garbage in city before CM Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah and he had directed to concerned authorities but they have not followed CM’s directions and they have failed to fulfill their promise.

MPA Dadu demanded to Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali to take serious notice on Municipal development monthly budget which was spent on Dadu city drainage. On this occasion, Abrar Ali Khushik, Basheer Ahmed Panwher, Syed Hadit Shah, Zameer Korejo, Akthair Charan Professor Irfan Ahmed Kalhoro and others also spoke.

Replying the remarks of PPP former education minister Pir Muzhar-ul-Haque and his son MPA Dadu Pir Mujeeb-ul-Haque Pakistan People’s Party Municipal Committee Chairman Gul Hassan Qumbrani said that as soon as cleanliness drive was started by Pir Muzhar-ul-Haque’s Benazir Bhutto Community he has sent municipal employees but they were removed.
