Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is ensuring regular measures for the health welfare of police employees, in continuation of which, Dr. Usman Anwar has released an additional nearly one million rupees for the treatment of police employees of various districts including Lahore. According to the details, Lahore Police constable Farhan Faiz was given 05 lakh rupees for the treatment of head injury and muscle problem. 02 lakh 15 thousand rupees was released to Constable Faheem Khan of Attock for medical expenses. The son of deceased sub-inspector Iqbal Hussain of Lahore was given 01 lakh rupees for heart surgery. 50 thousand rupees were released to the retired constable of Lahore, Allah Rakha, for the treatment of throat cancer. Constable Mukhtar Hussain was given 10 thousand rupees and instructed to contact the Hamza Foundation for the treatment of his son’s hearing problem. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar ordered to continue the measures for the health welfare of the police force and said that the speedy recovery of personnel suffering from medical problems is the first priority and the department will continue to provide all possible support in this regard. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar approved the above mentioned funds on the cases sent by Additional IG Welfare Muhammad Riaz Nazir Gara.
