Sir: Ever since the peace talks have started terrorism has risen to new heights. It is business as usual for the terrorists. A convenient argument that these attacks are being done by some other terrorist groups and not the one involved in negotiations could be just a tactical move to con the government and those supporting negotiations over military action. The common man is at a loss to understand the reasons behind negotiations. It appears that the Taliban are not serious about negotiations. Are we not trapped in a wild goose chase? We must respond to reason and logic, before it is too late. S TAJAMMAL H RIZVI Lahore
