KARACHI: A preview of paintings “Wildly Ours: Past Present and Future of Pakistan’s Wildlife” by renowned Italian artist Maurizio Boscheri held at Mohatta Place Museum on Wednesday. The consulate of Italy hosted the exhibition. The artist, Maurizo also arrived to in Karachi and according to the organizers, he will be conducting workshops for the students on different venues. A large number of his paintings of different wild animals of Pakistan including endangered species like lion, tiger and birds like Houbara Bustard, were displayed during the exhibitions. He will be donating his painting to raise funds for campaigns supporting wildlife in Pakistan. Large number of artists, nature lover, conservationists and wildlife enthusiasts visited the exhibition and inspired his work. “This is a wonderful work and such exhibition must hold on regular basis,” said a participant Faiza. Maurizio Boscheri was born in Mezzolombardo, Italy in 1955 and as n ardent traveler and nature lover, he began his painting career in 1997 and since then several galleries have shown his work around the world.
