LAHORE: Pakistani student Kanza Azeemi has recieved the prestigious Saïd Prize at University of Oxford. Kanza, a graduate of Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) recieved Saïd Prize upon the completion of her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) program at Saïd Business School. At a ceremony held at Sheldonian Theatre, the dean of Saïd Business School, Peter Tufano announced Kanza’s name for the award. The Dean acknolwedged her role in promoting females in leadership positions during her tenure as the elected Co- Chair of the Women’s Leadership Oxford Business Network. From a class of 327 students who came from 58 countries, it was Kanza who recived the award this year for her excellent academic standing and her outstanding role in promoting gender equality during her time at Oxford. She also recieved a position in the Dean’s honour list.
