Islamabad: The Flagship Millennium University College (TMUC), H-11/4 in federal capital in collaboration with United States Education Foundation Pakistan (USEFP) organised a visit of 23 US universities to talk and brief Millennials about global undergraduate scholarships on Sunday, said a press release issued. The visiting institutions from US include the University of Kentucky, Emporia State University, Old Dominion University, Hiram College, Foothill and De Anza Colleges, Savannah College of Art and Design, State University of New York, Plattsburgh, Minot State University, Western Kentucky University, Luther College, Valparaiso University, University of Bridgeport, Iowa State University, University of Northern Iowa, Northeastern Illinois University, St Peter’s University, University of Arizona, Minerva School at KGI, Arizona State University, Colorado State University, University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, St. John’s University and Wichita State University to talk and brief Millennials about global undergraduate scholarships. The university representatives were there for on-spot counselling sessions about scholarships and study prospects in United States of America (USA). It was a productive and interactive session for the Millennium University College and Roots Millennium Schools’ students. The students from Islamabad, Abbottabad, Peshawar, Mirpur and Gujranwala campuses participated in the event. In a highly interactive question and answer session in which undergraduate, AS and A level students posed pertinent questions regarding “study in USA”, the cultural difference and environment in USA colleges and universities. After the question and answer session, the Roots Millennium Schools Chief Executive Faisal Mushtaq presented memento to the representatives for honouring the Millennium University College campus for a one on one talk session. Later, a group photograph of the university representatives, students and staff was taken to mark the ending of the grand ceremony.
