
LAHORE: The business communities of Pakistan and United States should play an active role to further strengthen trade and economic ties between the two countries.
Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Senior Vice President Almas Hyder and Vice President Nasir Saeed said this while talking to US Embassy Islamabad’s Economic and Political Officer Andrew Douhler at LCCI on Friday. They said that great potential exists between both countries, which could be exploited by establishing business-to-business contacts and joint ventures in various economic sectors.
They said that US Consulate was playing a commendable role in development of working relations with various segments of the society in general and business community in particular.
