ISLAMABAD: The Federal Secretary Capital Administration Development Division (CADD), Hasan Iqbal, might be shown the door following a tug of war with State Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudary, who is a close aide of Maryam Nawaz Sharif. A stand-off between the State Minister CADD and the Secretary started when Secretary Hasan Iqbal refused to obey the illegal orders of the state minister which enraged him and he succeeded in having the secretary CADD removed from his post. A well-placed source told Daily Times that due to this tug of war, the high-ups of the government may transfer the Secretary to the post of Secretary Industry and Production and in a reciprocal move the Industry and Production Khizar Hayat Ghondal, might be made the Secretary CADD. Meanwhile it might be possible that the Secretary Water and Power, Younis Dhaga, might be appointed as Chief Secretary Sindh. Source said that a Grade 22 officer of the Pakistan Administrative group, Yasmeen Masood, may be given the slot of BISP Secretary. The Establishment Division has moved a summery for the approval of Prime Minister, who will make the final decision of these transfers. Sources said that the Additional Secretary Industry and Production Shafqatur Rehman Ranjha, had been suspended for three months. Additional Secretary, Industry and Production Shafqatur Rehman Ranjha, is a Grade 21 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Services.
