HYDERABAD: Condolences poured in over the death of noted journalist, writer and poet Parwano Bhatti, who passed away on Dec 2. Sindhi Language Authority Chairman Dr Abdul Ghafoor Memon, Sindhi Dictionary Board chief Madad Ali Sindhi, Kazi Asad Abid, Chief Editor of Daily Ibrat, Naseer Mirza, Director of Radio Pakistan Hyderabad, Inayet Abbasi, Saleem Jarwar, Rafiq Issani and many other notables have condoled over the death of Parwano Bhatti and termed it as great loss to Sindhi literature and journalism. Parwano had worked in daily Hilal Pakistan. He had also worked with Daily Ibratfor more than 30 years. Journalists’ bodies including Hyderabad Press Club and Hyderabad Union of Journalists have also condoled over the death of the great Sindhi literate. “Perwano was a man of integrity. Though he passed his life humbly under financial constraints, but he never bowed down before anyone. He would be always remembered as a man of principles,” they added.
