GUJRANWALA: Nine persons including six children were injured when a roof collapsed here at Garjakh Gujranwala. It was reported that all the family members of Zaheer were sleeping when roof of a room suddenly collapsed, resultantly Zaheer, his wife Najma, sister Ayesha and children Khuram, Owais, Umer, Naila and Usman received injuries and were rushed to DHQ hospital.
Separately, a man was crushed to death by a tractor-trolley here at Ali Pur Byepass. It was said that a sixty year old man was crossing the road when a speeding tractor trolley ran over him down and killed him on the spot. The identity of the deceased is yet to be known.
