A swindler-who used to threaten innocent peoples in the city for money-was caught red-handed by employees of SNGPL and was handed over to local police. Senior Superintendent SNGPL Usman Ejaz informed that last week, a permanent employee of the company brought into his notice the accused named Nasir who was portraying himself as SNGPL employee, asking for thirty eight thousand rupees from a citizen namely Haider Ali, resident of Upper Mall. Haider Ali had filed a complaint against the illegal appropriation by Nasir portraying himself as employee at SNGPL.
Upon the shared intelligence by Haider Ali, the accused was taken into custody by Dolphin Force, who took him to Race Course Police Station. Haider Ali further stated in his complaint that upon getting information about the arrest, he reached the police station immediately where it was revealed that accused Nasir s/o Rafique resident of Shadbagh had already a criminal record. The accused not just was looting ordinary citizens but was also tarnishing the image of SNGPL’s employees.
