Artificial crisis of water and gas is being created: Murtaza

Published on: January 3, 2019 4:50 AM

KARACHI: Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh on Information, Law & Anti-Corruption Barrister Murtaza Wahab has slammed the PTI govt. for creating artificial crisis of water and gas in Sindh. He stated, “Our transport had been crippled because of gas crisis”.

The federal govt. was denying the province its Rs. 92 billion due share.

Talking to media representatives today, he recalled that Chief Minister Sindh had repeatedly raised the issue of additional 1200 cusecs of water for Karachi on CCI forum but unfortunately PTI govt. failed to provide relief to the people.

He told that they were available and visible at the ground to serve the people and do not make big shallow claims of addressing public issues through e-portals to earn cheap self-projection.

PTI has continuously taken U-turns; at first they made a demand for CM resignation only to withdrawn later. PTI people should come out of the bubble of social media and Facebook in order to realize the ground realities of politics; they should come on earth and learn to govern.

The advisor further burst out that PTI has no exposure to politics and no sense of work; adding that “I don’t know what problem PTI has with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, he is the only CM who went to Beijing China for CPEC conference , he is the only CM who has political vision.”

He remarked that according to the Constitution of Pakistan, since no floor crossing was allowed then how can PTI dislodge Sindh govt? This shows that PTI believes in violation of law. According to Article 63-A, PTI cannot take any such measure or decision. It should focus on the Federal and Punjab govt., the advisor added.

He said that governor was an apolitical and constitutional head and therefore he should avoid from political point scoring and confine himself to his constitutional role.

To a question about the investigation of slain MQM lawmaker,Wahab replied that much headway had been reported in the murder of MQM Pakistan leader Ali Raza Abidi but he could not share more details at this stage. After Water & Gas, Says Barrister Murtaza Wahab.
