JACOBABAD: A man was burnt to death on Wednesday, along with his son at Ranjha Pur village, situated in the town of Thul of Jacobabad district.
According to a report, a fire broke out at the house of Abdul Hakeem Banglani that engulfed the whole house within a few minutes.
Consequently, he entered the house to rescue his sleeping four-year-old son, but he was already dead. He received serious burns while entering the house and was rushed to a local hospital where he was referred to Chandka Medical College Hospital (CMCH) in Larkana. On his way to CMCH, he succumbed to his burn injuries.
Reportedly, the fire erupted from kitchen that burnt whole house to ashes.
Meanwhile, the police handed over both bodies to their family after completing medico-legal procedures.
The villagers demanded officials to take notice of the incident and financially support the affected family.
