‘Call’ shines bright at Grand Music Fiesta

Published on: February 14, 2018 12:27 AM

A Grand Music Fiesta was held on Saturday at New City Residence. The magical night was graced by mainstream performers including Call the band, Quratulain Baloch and Aima Baig. However, the best performance was saved for the last. Call rocked the stage with their exceptional performances and song tracks. The lead vocalist Junaid Khan, who is also an actor by profession, outnumbered the former artists and sung his heart out.

The glorious evening was attended by masses and the crowd was upbeat throughout. Call sung their hit songs such as Pukaar, We Will Rock You, Hum Se He Hai Ye Zamana, Sab Bhula Kay, Laari Chooti and Jilwatan. The rock influenced performances were instant cheerers and fun to watch. Being one of Pakistan’s finest and most successful boy bands, Call led yet another musical night to victory. There are very few bands that manage to entice and engage the audience but Call is not conventional in that regard. They are known for working in unison and delivering as they promise.

Despite the busy schedule run by Junaid Khan, he is juggling his music and acting careers simultaneously and devotes time to both fields of performing arts

I sincerely appreciate the hard work and dedication of the band over the years. Given the downfall of rock bands in the past, mere handful of groups have thrived and surpassed the expectations of people.Call is the only band that has held its reputation atop and never for once parted ways.

Despite the busy schedule run by Junaid Khan, he is juggling his music and acting careers simultaneously and devotes time to both fields of performing arts. Having interviewed him in person, the 36-year old actor wants to flourish as a singer. Junaid dished about his forthcoming music projects. Currently, he is working on a rock track which will be released soon and is also working on other exciting projects which we will learn about in the coming months.

Call has released two standout studio albums including Jilwatan and Dhoom, the latter earning the band a Best Album nomination at LUX Style Awards in 2012.
