The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced two changes to the national Test squad for the ongoing series against the West Indies and the upcoming three-match Test tour of England. The PCB said opening batter Abdullah Fazal has been ruled out of the remainder of the Test campaign after being declared unfit. Abdullah Shafique has been named as his replacement in the squad. The board also confirmed the inclusion of Saud Shakeel as an additional replacement to provide greater depth and strengthen Pakistan’s batting options for the forthcoming matches. Pakistan are currently playing a two-match Test series against the West Indies. Following its conclusion, the national team will travel to England for a three-match Test series. The England series forms part of the ICC World Test Championship, making it an important assignment for Pakistan in the competition.
