During an interview alongside co-star Jacob Batalon, Holland was asked how many projects his fiancée, Zendaya, has set for release this year. Confidently counting them one by one, he mentioned Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Odyssey before Batalon reminded him to include Shrek, in which Zendaya is also involved.
Believing he had named them all, Holland concluded that she had four major releases lined up.
Zendaya, however, quickly pointed out that he had overlooked one important title. The actor paused, trying to recall the missing project before suddenly realising his mistake.
“Oh… Dune! Five! Five! Five!” Holland exclaimed with a laugh after remembering Dune, bringing the total number of Zendaya’s 2026 releases to five.
The playful exchange prompted Batalon to remark that having five high-profile films released in a single year is an extraordinary accomplishment. The interviewer agreed, describing the actress’s packed schedule as a “generational run.”
Holland echoed that sentiment, praising Zendaya’s remarkable career momentum and acknowledging that very few performers are working at such a consistently high level.
The couple, who have frequently supported one another’s careers publicly, shared the humorous moment as part of the press campaign for the latest Spider-Man film.
Zendaya continues to be one of Hollywood’s most sought-after stars, balancing major franchise productions with critically acclaimed projects. Her impressive slate of upcoming releases further strengthens her position as one of the industry’s leading actresses.
