US Refuses to Share Iran Deal Details With Israel, Reports Say

Published on: June 17, 2026 3:09 AM

Iran Deal

The United States has reportedly refused to provide Israel with details about a proposed agreement with Iran, citing sensitive national security concerns. The decision has drawn attention in diplomatic circles as US refuses to share Iran deal details with Israel, according to Israeli media reports that describe the move as unexpected.

Israeli media say Israel formally requested access to the Iran memorandum of understanding being discussed between Washington and Tehran. However, US officials rejected the request, stating that the information involves highly classified security matters and cannot be shared even with close allies.

Reports suggest the draft agreement includes several major provisions. These include lifting US naval restrictions on Iran within 30 days, easing sanctions on Iran’s oil and petrochemical exports, and working toward de-escalation across multiple regional conflict zones, including Lebanon.

The proposed framework also mentions the release of billions of dollars in frozen Iranian assets in phases. It further suggests that Iran’s missile program and support for regional allied groups may not be included in the final deal, while reconstruction funding and wider economic relief measures are also being discussed.

Israeli officials have reportedly expressed surprise over Washington’s refusal to share the details. The situation highlights ongoing tensions and limited transparency between allies, with US refuses to share Iran deal details with Israel remaining at the center of the dispute.
