The Lahore Arts Council, Alhamra, organised a two-day Sculpture Training Workshop to nurture artistic talent among young people.
The workshop is being conducted by renowned sculptor and instructor of the Sculpture Class at the Alhamra Academy of Performing Arts, Maisam Hussain, who is providing hands-on training and professional guidance to the participants.
Expressing his views on the occasion, Executive Director Alhamra Muhammad Nawaz Gondal said that the youth of Pakistan possess immense talent and continue to bring pride to the nation through their achievements in diverse fields. He stated that Alhamra is committed to creating valuable learning opportunities in the fine arts and to providing young artists with platforms to develop their creative abilities.
Muhammad Nawaz Gondal further remarked that the enthusiastic response of young participants to the sculpture workshop is highly encouraging. He noted that Alhamra is ensuring a productive and inspiring learning environment where aspiring artists can refine their skills and explore their creative potential.
On the opening day of the workshop, Naveen Roma of the Alhamra Academy of Performing Arts warmly welcomed the participants. During an interactive session, sculptor Maisam Hussain met with the young artists, shared insights from his professional journey and introduced them to various techniques and practical skills in sculpture. The participants demonstrated keen interest and enthusiasm throughout the training sessions.
It is noteworthy that the workshops organized by the Alhamra Academy of Performing Arts consistently attract significant interest from young people.
