Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned reported Iranian missile attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain and pledged full support for both Gulf nations. The development is significant because it raises concerns about regional stability and maritime security in a strategically important area. The attacks have affected Gulf states already facing heightened security challenges and diplomatic tensions.
In a statement, the Saudi Foreign Ministry said the attacks could undermine efforts to preserve peace across the region. The ministry warned that such actions may threaten both regional and international security. It also reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s support for measures aimed at protecting stability and preventing further escalation.

Meanwhile, Egypt and Qatar also condemned the reported attacks and expressed solidarity with Kuwait and Bahrain. Egypt’s Foreign Ministry said the incidents posed a serious threat to Gulf security. Qatar described the attacks as a violation of the sovereignty of both countries and stressed the importance of reducing tensions through dialogue and restraint.
According to Bahrain’s Foreign Ministry, Iran launched seven ballistic missiles toward Bahrain and Kuwait. Bahraini authorities said air defense systems intercepted and destroyed all the missiles before they reached their intended targets. The ministry condemned the attacks and stated that peace cannot be achieved through missile and drone strikes.

Bahrain further urged Iran to halt what it called unjustified attacks and pursue diplomatic solutions. The ministry also called on Tehran to cooperate in identifying and removing underwater mines and ensuring safe navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.
