The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is reportedly considering major changes in its coaching and management structure, with former national team captains expected to be given important responsibilities, according to sources.

Under the proposed reshuffle, former Test captain Younis Khan is likely to be appointed as the head coach of Pakistan’s Test team. Sources also suggest he may be included in the national selection committee as part of a broader effort to restructure team management.
Similarly, former all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez is being considered for the role of Director of International Cricket within the Pakistan Cricket Board. He may also be given a position in the national selection committee, strengthening his involvement in cricketing decisions at the top level.

Sources indicate that Test team coach Sarfaraz Ahmed and captain Shan Masood could be removed from their respective roles as part of the restructuring plan.
