
Sabrina Carpenter has taken legal action after a disturbing stalking incident outside her Hollywood Hills home, resulting in a Los Angeles court granting her a temporary restraining order. The decision came after authorities reviewed repeated security concerns involving a man approaching her property.
The court order requires 31-year-old William Applegate to stay away from Sabrina Carpenter, her sister Sarah Carpenter, and Sarah’s partner. Moreover, the restrictions also extend to her home, workplace, and vehicle, preventing any form of contact, threats, or surveillance.

According to court statements, Sabrina Carpenter said she had been feeling unsafe for several weeks, with the situation escalating in late May. In addition, she reported that the individual repeatedly appeared near her residence, increasing her fear and prompting immediate legal intervention.
Investigators noted that on May 23, the man allegedly attempted to force open the front door of her home, but a security guard stopped him before he could enter. Furthermore, authorities stated that he falsely claimed to know the singer and insisted he was expected at the property.

Security footage reportedly showed the man returning to the area multiple times despite earlier warnings from officials. As a result, law enforcement intensified monitoring of the situation while continuing to gather evidence for possible further charges.
