‘Indian plans to disrupt peace in Pakistan failed miserably’

Provincial Minister and Chairman Cabinet Committee on Law and Order Khawaja Salman Rafique met with Chancellor of Al-Ghazali University and Patron-in-Chief of Jamiat-ul-Rashid Mufti Abdul Rahim. Secretary Home Dr. Ahmed Javed Qazi, Special Secretary Fazal ur Rehman, Additional Secretary Special Initiative Abdul Rauf and others attended the meeting. The delegation of Jamiat-ul-Rashid included Engineer Mufti Usman, Maulana Salman Advocate, Maulana Syed Fahim-ul-Hasan, Maulana Abdul Wadood and Hafiz Saleem Abid. The meeting discussed the situation of law and order and the promotion of inter-Muslim unity.

Provincial Minister and Chairman Cabinet Committee on Law and Order Khawaja Salman Rafique said that the Punjab government is promoting inter-faith unity and inter-Muslim unity across the province. On the instructions of the Chief Minister of Punjab, a series of meetings with prominent scholars of all schools of thought are ongoing. The azazia program for Imams by the Chief Minister of Punjab is very welcome. We want madaris in Punjab to play a key role in the development of the country. Indian plans to disrupt peace in Pakistan are failing, alhamdulillah. Allah Almighty has bestowed great honor on Pakistan in the Iran-US talks. For us, the security of the state is most important. scholars play a key role in promoting peace, tolerance and brotherhood in the society.

On this occasion, Punjab Home Secretary Dr. Ahmed Javed Qazi expressed his views and said that respected scholars always teach the lesson of promoting peace and mutual tolerance. Making people aware of the true spirit of religion is a great service of scholars. Establishing peace in Punjab is the top priority.

Patron Chief Jamiatul Rasheed Mufti Abdul Rahim expressed his views and said that the role of scholars is very important for the strength of the state. We welcome the efforts of the Punjab government for inter-Muslim unity. Solving problems through dialogue and mutual consultation is the only guarantee of social stability. All possible cooperation will continue with the government for the promotion of religious harmony and tolerance. With the establishment of peace in Pakistan, all the evil plans of the outsiders will die their own deaths. At the end of the meeting, prayers were offered for the development and prosperity of the country and nation.
